POCO X5 Pro 5G

I'm coming from a Poco X3 NFC, this phone is such an upgrade I can't believe it. I paid $420 (CAD) in early 2021 for the Poco X3 NFC. I paid $404 (CAD) in early 2023 for the Poco X5 Pro which is a massive upgrade.

Owning an X5 Pro 5G here for 20 months now and still happy with it. Camera is good enough for point and shoot pictures, selfie cam sucks though. I use it for dialing, texting, YouTube, social media and easily do a day with a charge still, with about 9 hours screentime over the day.

Hey everyone thank you so much for your attention, I bought Poco X5 pro 5g yesterday for ₹6600 as it's a used phone but in good condition, after applying tempered glass and cover it's almost like new. It's beast phone good display, sound, haptics light weight yes previously I was using poco X5 that was heavy.

I want all the poco x5 pro users to assemble here and discuss about the issues we are facing with hyper os 2 or in general issues coz I have been facing a lot of issues lately with my device, mainly the battery issue, my phone drains around 10-15% at night when I am not even using my phone.

As far my initial impressions on this phone, I can tell that it is not a worth it especially when comes to its camera and overall performance. Comes with older upgrade of Android 12 and also some lagging issues noted as Snapdragon could not make it up to level.

I bought a Poco X5 pro 5G recently. I am satisfied with the device. It works great, display is great and battery life is fantastic. But, i have one little problem. The device is asking for an update and when i try to update, it just go back to home screen with the notification "updater failed to respond"

Even my last phone which I used for 4yrs did give better battery performance than my current brand new poco x5 battery drainage is too much

Having the same phone for the same period of time. I'm on 6 hrs screen time today so far , unplugged it 10 hours ago and still have 54% charge .. YouTube, Reddit , Discord, Netflix, Facebook, Instagram and Firefox are open so far.

I had an iPhone XR before this and pictures are comparable. Good enough for point and shoot by for serious photography you'll need a real camera, not any smartphone cam. I'm not disappointed for how the cameras perform though but as I said, it's not for serious photography.

I have the same phone. Turning off wifi scanning helped me a lot.
