Go with the Razr Fold. Software update is overrated. Am I dying because I don’t have Android 17? No, Android 16 has everything that I need. Moto should launch Android 17 next month.

The ZuPick verdict
This phone gets a lot right: flagship performance, a very strong foldable battery setup, a premium inner display and long software support. Its main compromises are price, 3x zoom and a display that is bright and smooth rather than class-leading in sharpness.

Pros & cons
A 6000 mAh battery is unusually large for a foldable, and 80W wired plus 50W wireless charging make it far more convenient than many premium rivals.
It scores about 2.79 million on AnTuTu, which is comfortably in flagship territory. 12 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage also help apps, gaming and multitasking feel fast.
The LTPO AMOLED panel, 165 Hz refresh rate and 6200 nits peak brightness give you a very high-end screen for reading, video and outdoor use.
You get a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide and 3x telephoto, which is the kind of full camera setup buyers expect at this price. 8K video adds extra flexibility for creators.
Seven years of OS updates is among the best commitments available. That matters more at this price, where buyers tend to keep phones for longer.
At ₹149999, it starts from a tough value position. It needs to be exceptional across the board, and some slab flagships offer stronger camera reach or sharper screens for less.
The telephoto camera is useful for portraits and subjects across a room, but rivals in this range increasingly push to 5x or periscope zoom for better long-distance shots.
The 1080x2520 display is sharp enough in daily use, but it does not deliver the extra crispness that QHD+ panels bring at flagship prices.
What owners say
From RedditIf you want a excellent fold with the best cameras get the Motorola, if your not that bothered about cameras get the Oppo N6 both are the best folds out. The only cons about the motorola are ,i wish the bezels on front screen had been smaller and there's zero cases or screen protectors to buy.
Pros - 1) Premium looking, 2) Good camera, 3) Outstanding battery life, 4) Big screens, 5) Flat screen when unfolded Cons - 1) Average crease control on the inner display, 2) Bug in apps when unfolded, 3) Lack of special features compared with competitors (e.g. media editor)
The edge of the back cover seems to be a per unit variance. I have had a total of 3 white Razr Fold units, and they are all different when it comes to the back cover. The first unit had a perfectly smooth edge but a bad power button. The second unit had a good power button, but the edge was so sharp that it hurts my hand when holding it.
You better hope Samsung fixed all the bugs they have that makes their phones glitch. My z fold 7 would jitter and glitch the more I customized with Good Lock. That plus the crappy battery and horrid photos make me very happy I traded in for the Razr fold.
Believe me, you made the right decision getting the Motorola Razr Fold instead of the Samsung z fold 8. On the Samsung the corners cut into your palms and it is harder to open too. The Fold is much more comfortable to hold.
I wanted to share my thoughts after using the phone for a week with others thinking about making the switch. Seeing others have a positive experience helped me go for it. Consumers gave feedback for over 3 years towards Samsung around what they want from a folding device. They still failed to deliver with the fold 8 and Fold 8 ultra. Better Camera, better battery and Pen support. Motorola delivered.
I love my flip! It's so convientent and IlLOVE the little features. I have a Razr 5, but the camera quality somehow really kind of just, sucks? It looks grainy and the brightness randomly changes to being super bright or a completely different color, I wouldn't recommend it for avid photo takers but I definitely wouldn't recommend this phone to gamers.
It gets overheated REALLY quick especially on the small back flip screen, only being on Reddit right now makes it warm and it's burning UP when I'm playing a game even on the lowest res and quality. And if you're darker skinned like me, the oils of your skin will likely leave skin residue on the flipscreen of the phone back.
