The ZuPick verdict

3.1out of 5
ConsiderBest at performance, weakest at battery.

The Motorola G34 5G is a balanced everyday phone with smooth software, 5G and solid basics. Its weaker screen sharpness and average charging stop it from being a top pick, but it still makes sense for buyers who want a simple, dependable all-rounder.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance4.0
Snapdragon 695 delivers dependable everyday speed for calling, browsing, streaming and routine multitasking. UFS 2.2 storage helps with app loading, and 5G support keeps it current, though the 4 GB version is better suited to lighter use.
Camera3.0
The 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus is good enough for decent daylight photos. Video tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, and overall camera performance is more functional than impressive.
Display2.9
The 120 Hz refresh rate keeps the phone feeling smooth, but the 720x1600 LCD panel is a clear step down from sharper Full HD options. Brightness of 500 nits is serviceable indoors, though outdoor visibility is only average.
Battery2.5
The 5000 mAh battery is enough for a full day of regular use, which is the baseline expectation in this range. 20W charging gets the job done, but it is on the slower side against better-equipped rivals.
Value3.1
It gets the essentials right with 5G, stereo speakers, UFS 2.2 storage and a smooth 120 Hz display. The value is held back by the HD+ screen and modest charging, so it sits as a fair rather than standout buy.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Smooth 120Hz display

The 120 Hz screen makes scrolling, app switching and everyday navigation feel fluid. It helps the phone feel quicker in daily use than a basic 60 Hz panel.

Reliable everyday performance

Snapdragon 695, UFS 2.2 storage and 5G support make this a dependable phone for calls, messaging, streaming and routine multitasking. App opening and installs are reasonably quick too.

Clean software experience

Android 14 with Motorola's lighter software approach is easy to live with. It suits buyers who want a simple interface without too much clutter.

Good speaker setup

Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos are a real plus at this price. Videos, games and voice content sound fuller than they do on many single-speaker rivals.

What’s not
HD+ screen sharpness

The 720x1600 display is the biggest compromise here. Text and video do not look as crisp as they do on Full HD rivals, which are common in this price range.

Basic charging speed

20W charging is usable, but it is not especially quick for this segment. A full top-up takes longer than on stronger value-focused alternatives.

Limited base RAM

The 4 GB version is fine for lighter use, but it leaves less headroom for heavier multitasking and gaming. Buyers who keep many apps open should aim for the 8 GB variant.

Camera is daylight-focused

The 50 MP main camera can take decent shots in good light, but 1080p at 30 fps and the lack of extra camera hardware for tougher scenes keep it from standing out.

Mast hai abhi Tak experience Multitasking is 5/5 ( even smoother because of 120 hz smooth display) Performance is 5/5 ( because of snapdragon 695, antutu over 4,40,000) Camera 3/5 (details can be improved) Battery 4/5 (drains a bit quickly although can give backup of almost a day with heavy usage)

If you want Samsung's brand value then f15 is also good but it price is a bit more but if you want good performance and clean and fast ui and display the moto is good just remember it's camera is decent but not top of the line like it's other departments.

I have been using my g34 for 9 months and I think it's quite good. It has good specs, a quite good camera, but the app is laggy etc. So what do you think about it? Is it good or bad? I think for a mid- class phone it's nice.
