The ZuPick verdict
The Motorola Edge 70 gets most of the important things right: a bright sharp display, strong everyday performance, capable cameras and premium extras that many rivals skip. Its main compromise is battery and charging, which are good but not class-leading for this price.

Pros & cons
The AMOLED panel reaches 4500 nits peak brightness, so it stays easy to read in harsh sunlight. Its 1220x2712 resolution is also sharper than the Full HD screens many rivals still use.
It scores about 1.4 million on AnTuTu, which is comfortably above the middle of this price range. Day-to-day use feels fast, and demanding games should run well with sensible settings.
The 50 MP main camera has optical stabilisation for steadier low-light shots, and the 50 MP ultrawide is better than the low-resolution secondary cameras many phones still use. 4K at 60 fps adds useful video flexibility.
IP68 and IP69 protection, NFC, stereo speakers and 15W wireless charging make it feel more complete than many alternatives. These are the kind of extras buyers notice over long-term use.
At 5.99 mm and 159 grams, it is unusually thin and easy to carry for a 6.7-inch phone. That makes it more comfortable for long calls, reading and one-handed handling.
The 5000 mAh battery and 11h 13m tested life are fine, but this price range now has many phones with larger cells and longer endurance. Heavy users may still need a top-up by evening.
68W charging is quick enough, but it is no longer standout in this bracket where faster wired charging is common. A full top-up is convenient, just not class-leading.
You get a strong main and ultrawide pairing, but there is no dedicated zoom lens. Portraits and distant subjects will not match phones with proper optical zoom.
