The ZuPick verdict
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro gets a lot right for this budget, especially its display, charging and camera versatility. The battery size and storage speed are the main trade-offs, but the overall package is still easy to like.

Pros & cons
The 6.7-inch OLED panel is a real highlight here. Its 1220x2712 resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits peak brightness make it sharp, smooth and easy to use outdoors.
125W wired charging is among the quickest you can get at this price. It is ideal if you often top up in short bursts instead of charging overnight.
The 50 MP main camera gets OIS and a very wide f/1.4 aperture, while the 10 MP telephoto lens adds proper 3x optical zoom. That gives it more shooting flexibility than most rivals.
IP68 water resistance, NFC, stereo speakers and 50W wireless charging make the package feel more complete. These are meaningful upgrades, not filler features.
It scores about 827,000 on AnTuTu, which is comfortably above the middle of what this price buys. Daily use feels fast, and gaming is solid with sensible settings.
The 4500 mAh battery is on the smaller side for this price range. It should last a day for many users, but heavier use leaves less margin than 5000 mAh and 5500 mAh rivals.
UFS 2.2 storage is serviceable, but some competitors now offer faster storage. App installs, large file transfers and game loading are not as snappy as the best options here.
The 8 GB version is fine for most people, but it does not stand out in a segment where several phones push harder on memory and sustained multitasking.
