Google Pixel 9 Pro

Honestly all I expected out of the 9 Pro was a brand new camera system with finally 5x zoom at my fingertips and a good battery, and the stock Android Experience which is best given by Google... But man was I overwhelmed by how incredibly good the software features on this phone are.

9 pro here. The phone's been fantastic. I got it right before the 10 was released. I had a 8 series and I did have some issues with cellular modem connectivity causing the phone to get warm and drain the battery. The 9 series upgraded the modem and it's night and day difference.

I usually unplug around 630am and have 70% or more at 3pm that's from texting, Reddit, emails and a video or 2 throughout the day. The camera is great and I personally think the complaints about video are overblown.

I used a 9 pro for the better part of an month. Here is my opinion: The build quality is nice and that thing feels premium. Cameras take natural, good looking photos. They're consistently a 8/10.

On the topic of battery life, it lasted longer than the regular Pixel 9 my friend has, but still, the active use I got from watching videos, chatting and online shopping is nothing to write home about. And it charges very slowly

Also when the camera app is open for more than 5 minutes it also starts getting pretty warm. There was a day when I was on a call with my girlfriend and had a chat open and a document in another app and there were micro stutters.

I went from a Pixel 6a, to an 8 and now a 9ro. All I can say is that the noticeable difference from a jump upgrade was from the 6a to the 8, not so much the 9ro. Honestly the 9 Pro feels and performs the same all 'roudner with a better camera.

I also went from the 7 to the 9 Pro. It is better in almost every way except for the GPS tracking which is better on the 7. It is less accurate at finding where I am and slower to reload after driving out of a tunnel.

I have great battery life. I limit battery charging to 80% on my P9P. I definitely use the living $h1t out of my phone as well. Love this phone so far. For reference, I upgraded from a Galaxy S21.

For me the 9P is near perfect. Issues are limited to software. 7 would have been perfectly fine but the optical fingerprint sensor would NOT cooperate with my fingers. I went from 50% success rate with the 7, to 99% success rate with the ultrasonic sensor on the 9P
