The ZuPick verdict

4.5out of 5

Strong buyBest at battery, weakest at camera.

The OnePlus 15 gets a lot right for its price: elite performance, excellent battery life, very fast charging and a premium display. Its main compromises are a non-QHD+ screen and a shorter update promise than the longest-supported rivals, but overall it is one of the stronger flagship buys in this range.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance4.6

It scores about 3.62 million on AnTuTu, which puts it among the fastest phones you can buy. 12 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage keep everything feeling immediate, though the software support promise is good rather than class-leading.

Camera4.3

This is a versatile camera setup with a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide, 3.5x periscope zoom, 32 MP selfie camera and 8K video. It covers most premium needs well, but some camera-first rivals still go further on optical zoom reach.

Display4.4

This is a strong premium display with LTPO AMOLED, a very smooth 165 Hz refresh rate and 3600 nits peak brightness for excellent outdoor visibility. The main trade-off is resolution, which is sharp but not as crisp as QHD+ rivals.

Battery4.8

Battery life is a major strength here. The 7300 mAh battery is huge for a flagship, the tested 17h 06m result is excellent, and 120W charging with 50W wireless charging gives you both endurance and convenience.

Value4.5

At ₹72499, it sits near the lower end of flagship pricing while delivering standout battery life, top-tier speed and a very complete feature set. It gives up a little in display sharpness and long-term software support, but the overall package is very strong for the money.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Huge battery advantage

The 7300 mAh battery is far larger than what most premium phones offer. It is built for long gaming sessions, heavy camera use and full-day travel without battery anxiety.

Very fast charging

120W wired charging is among the quickest in this class, and 50W wireless charging adds real convenience. It is the kind of setup that makes top-ups feel effortless.

Elite flagship speed

It scores about 3.62 million on AnTuTu, which is right at the top end for Android phones. Daily use is instant, and demanding games have plenty of headroom.

Excellent display setup

The LTPO AMOLED panel, 165 Hz refresh rate and 3600 nits peak brightness make this a standout screen. It looks fluid, bright outdoors and premium in day-to-day use.

Well-rounded camera hardware

You get a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide and a 3.5x periscope zoom, plus 8K video. That gives it more flexibility than many rivals around this price.

What’s not

Not the sharpest panel

The 1272x2772 display is crisp, but some premium rivals at this level move up to a sharper QHD+ screen. If display detail matters a lot to you, that is the compromise here.

Update promise trails leaders

4 years of Android updates is solid, but it is not class-leading in a market where some premium phones now go much longer. Long-term buyers can do better on software support.

Zoom stops short

The periscope camera is useful at 3.5x optical, but the best camera-focused rivals stretch further with 5x zoom. It is versatile, just not the longest-reaching option.
