OnePlus 12R

I'm enjoying it so far. Came from a Google P7P. Definitely loving the battery life and charging speed compared to that. The camera isn't as good obviously, but not terrible. It's stupid, but the messages bubble bothers me because I like to keep it in the middle right, but it always resets itself to the upper left. Doesn't seem to connect as smoothly to Android Auto either.

UI and Performance - I've experienced zero lag in the system UI or any apps. The camera app runs smoothly, as does the GCam port I installed. I've played COD Mobile and Genshin Impact at the highest graphics settings, and the phone handled them well, only becoming slightly warm.

Battery - Battery life is arguably my favorite aspect of this phone. A full charge lasts about 1.25–1.5 days with 7–8 hours of screen-on time (plus extensive background music playback). I have video enhancement options enabled and all apps are set to 120 Hz at the highest resolution.

As of today at that price 12r is a solid 8.5/10 phone for me. The only 2 cons are: 1. UW is only "usable" but the main camera is good tho. 2. the battery optimisation sucks and it's very inconsistent between their updates. Somedays I get 5-6 hrs with gaming and somedays it's 3-4. However after the recent update it's been good.

I've had my 12R for about a week now and it's the best phone I've ever owned. If you get one I suggest getting the 16 gig variant.

I have one and it's been amazing. Maybe you have a defective one.

I haven't had any of that problem and it's been 5 months since I got it, have multiple apps open and still nothing happens.

Got the 16 GB RAM version and love it. Perf is perfect. Then again, I have intentionally not upgraded to Oxy 16 after all the complaints I've heard about it.

I opened Reddit today to ask this exact question. I am admittedly only the on 128g version with only around 20gb of storage left. But the level of lags and freezes I get with this makes me feel like maybe I've got a faulty device. Unlocking the phone is always a pain - sometimes it freezes after unlocking, sometimes the touch (even though my hand is off the screen) is persisted and it starts the quick launch window.

this non responsiveness, and freezing while unblocking will someday make me throw it my phone freezes while unlocking and other budget phones are doing it fine and when you open camera directly.. omg.. it will take forever
