I own one. There are no ads. But network reception is very very poor. 5g won't work and most times you will have to rely on 4g. Software is ok. At times closing Instagram or YouTube makes it play the last video in the background.

The ZuPick verdict
Fast charging and a polished display are the main attractions, but the phone gives up optical zoom, wireless charging, leading performance and extended software support. Those compromises are substantial among current premium alternatives.

Pros & cons
The 5000 mAh battery supports 100W charging, reaching a full charge in about 25 minutes. Short top-ups are exceptionally convenient.
The curved 1240x2772 AMOLED display produces crisp visuals and smooth motion at 120 Hz. HDR10+ support also benefits films and streaming.
The main camera records 4K video at 60 fps, while optical stabilisation helps reduce shake. That combination works well for handheld clips.
There is no telephoto camera, leaving portraits and distant subjects dependent on digital cropping. Many similarly priced alternatives offer dedicated 3x or 5x zoom.
Its benchmark result is modest for a premium phone, while UFS 3.1 storage is behind the faster storage used by newer rivals. Demanding games have less long-term headroom.
Wireless charging is missing, so every recharge requires a cable. That is a meaningful convenience trade-off at this price.
Three years of Android upgrades is adequate but falls behind alternatives offering five to seven years. It is less reassuring for buyers planning to keep the phone well beyond four years.

From RedditI've been using my OnePlus 11R for the last 6 months..(This is my first time owning a OnePlus phone). So it worked fine the first one month, but after updates I have found many problems like video getting stuck while recording....
Everything is good except camera and you'll always have to worry for green line.
For me a mix bag. Software seems a bit glitchy. Hopefully will improve on the next major update. Main camera is amazing. For the price I think it's hard to beat
It's a budget flagship phone, great overall but if the camera is your priority then i suggest against it. But overall a great phone
Hey. My brother has been using 11r for quite sometime now and his experience has been just great. 11r has all the capabilities to get the OG OnePlus fans back to it.
